Vibalong ("we", "our", "us") is a social discovery platform that helps users connect with people who share similar interests, explore local places, and create meaningful experiences. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information.

We collect the following information when you create or update your account:

- Profile photo
- Age
- Gender
- Bio
- Phone number

2.2 User-Generated Content
You may upload:
This content is visible to other users depending on your activity and remains stored until you delete it or delete your account.
3. Location Data
We collect:
- Precise location
- Approximate location
- Background location (only with explicit permission)
Purpose of location collection:
- Showing nearby users
- Displaying maps
- Enabling location-based features
- Improving user experience
Important: We do not store your location on our servers. We do not share your location with other users.
4. Automatically Collected Data
We automatically collect:
- Device model
- Operating system
- IP address
- Device ID (used to restrict multi-device login)
- App usage analytics
- Crash logs

Note: We do not collect advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID).

We do not use microphone, Bluetooth, motion sensors, or background activity.

- Ensure safety and moderation
We do not sell your data.
7. Data Sharing
We do not share personal data with third parties except:
- Firebase (authentication, analytics, crash reporting)

We do not share data with advertisers.
8. Data Storage & Security
- Data is stored on a custom server using MongoDB
- Data is encrypted in transit and at rest
- Only authorized organization administrators have access
- We do not store logs containing personal data
9. Data Retention
- User-generated content is stored until deleted
- Account data is stored until the user deletes their account
- Location data is not stored on the server
10. User Rights
You may:
- Access your data
- Edit your profile
- Delete your content
- Delete your account (via the in-app delete button)
Upon account deletion, all associated data is permanently removed.
11. Age Restrictions
Vibalong is intended for users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
12. Safety & Responsibility
Users are responsible for their interactions and behavior on the platform. Vibalong provides tools for reporting and blocking but does not guarantee safety in offline meetups or user-to-user interactions.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. Significant changes will be communicated within the app.
